News and Updates

Information and update - Balham Children’s Centre

From 1st October 2019 all Children’s Centres and Children’s Centre staff in Wandsworth have transferred to the local authority. Leadership and management of Children’s Centres is therefore now the responsibility of Wandsworth Council. However, we are very pleased that family support, activities and sessions at Balham Children’s Centre will continue to be delivered by Sasha, Paula and Roma for the time being.

Children’s Centre services are now being provided through three clusters across the borough - Tooting, Battersea and Roehampton. Balham Children’s Centre is part of the Tooting Cluster.

The reorganisation of the Children’s Centres is an exciting opportunity for the local authority to re-shape their offer in order to better meet the needs of local communities.

The Tooting Cluster Autumn Term 2019 programme can be found here.
